Belgium lowers weekly deposit limit for online casino players
In October 2022, the Belgian Federal Government decided to lower the online gambling deposit limit for Belgian players. This limit was €500 maximum per week. The new maximum limit is now €200 per week. This new rule will come into effect on October 20.
Just to be clear: this new limit applies per website. The original limit of €500 was divided between all casino operators where players would gamble. The Belgian Gaming Commission has now decided to apply the new rule to each individual operator.
Another detail: only the last 7 days of a player´s betting period are counted.
